VA to watts calculation

The value of real power P in watts (W) is apparently equal to the value of apparent power S measured in volt-amps (VA), multiplied by the power factor PF.

P(W) =  S(VA) × PF

For Example,

Find the real power measured in watts if the apparent power is 2000 VA and the value of power factor is 0.4?

P = 2000 VA × 0.4 = 800 W
